On Wednesday, a young guy was rushed to the hospital after colliding with a truck while driving his dirt bike.
Elmvale police responded to a call on Robinson Road and Yonge Street South at about 8:45 p.m.
The police report that a group of teenagers were on their dirt bikes, travelling down streets when one of the 15-year-old riders hit a pickup truck.
The three other bikers quickly left the area.
The teenager was flown by an ORANGE AIR ambulance to a Toronto-area hospital.
The OPP encourages off-road vehicle drivers to exercise caution and obey the rules.
All roads in the province and County of Simcoe remain unavailable for off-road vehicle use.
In Springwater, off-road vehicles are permitted on most municipal streets with the exception of a few.
