Timmins Today reported that Ali Mahmoudi, a Timmins doctor who was charged in July this year, is facing new additional charges after five more victims have come forward. Ali Mahmoudi is facing 11 additional charges.
The charges include:
- Seven counts of sexual assault.
- Two counts of forcible confinement.
- One count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon.
The alleged criminal acts were committed against a woman, said police in August when the original charges were reported.
The court addressed the new charges on Nov. 29, said police. His next court appearance is on Jan. 3 in Timmins.
