Five people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the Danforth, including two police officers. One driver was arrested after leaving the scene.
A BMW driver crossed the centre line and hit an oncoming Hyundai head-on, leaving his injured 22-year-old passenger behind. The Hyundai driver was badly hurt and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the suspect than ran to the area of Seymour and Shudell Aves., where he allegedly attacked a man taking his children out of the family car without any provocation from the man, damaged the car, and then dropped his pants and exposed himself, committing an indecent act.
On the arrival of responding officers, the suspect punched one of the police officers, and another officer Tasered him, and the suspect was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
