Darren Green – Ottawa Teacher Charged for Sexually Assaulting Student

CBC News reported that Darren Green, a teacher of Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference and one count of sexual exploitation.

Ottawa police say the charges originate from incidents involving a girl under 18 that allegedly occurred between 2015 and 2018. Police said Green was employed by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board at the time but didn’t say where.

Darren Green, 56, a year-old teacher, was charged Thursday and is expected to appear in court the same day, police said.

Ottawa police said Thursday that investigators are concerned there may be more victims.
