A 12-year-old boy from Hamilton is in hospital after being struck by a car while waiting at the bus stop with his family.
According to the Hamilton Police Department, on Thursday at around 6 p.m., a Honda Civic took a left turn onto Gray Rd. near Highway 8 hit a westbound Hyundai.
The collision caused the Hyundai to crash into a Hamilton Street Railway bus shelter, hitting the boy who was waiting there with his father, brother, and sister.
The boy was rushed to McMaster Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he is now in serious but not-life-threatening condition, according to the police.
