Walpole Island: Two cyclists killed in early morning accident

Two cyclists were struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning. The accident occurred at around 5 am on Walpole Island.

The fire department responded to the scene and discovered that both cyclists were dead.

The driver of the vehicle has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, and it is still unclear what led to the accident.
