CTV News reported that Dr. Samuel Olupona of Alliston, Ontario, has been charged following an OPP investigation.
Following allegations of sexual assault at a medical facility, 71-year-old Dr. Samuel Olupona of Alliston physician was charged.
The alleged victim accused Dr. Samuel Olupona of sexual assault during treatment, according to Nottawasaga police.
The Kleinburg resident was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault. He was detained in police custody for a bail hearing.
Following the complaint, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario imposed specific temporary restrictions on Dr. Olupona’s practice.
Additionally, the College ordered that the accused’s practice be under a clinical supervisor’s supervision for three months.
Dr. Olupona has not been charged in court with any of the claims made against him.
Police are urging any other sexual assault victims to come forward to assist in the investigation.
